Dialogue
This newly created duo project is the latest in a long list of collaborations between Ms. Melford and clarinetist Ben Goldberg. Their previous work together includes her Be Bread ensemble, which recorded 2010's The Whole Tree Gone (Firehouse 12 Records), and his Orphic Machine, which performs an original song cycle based on the poetical writings of Allen Grossman. They've also co-composed and premiered multiple suites over the past five years. ::Dialogue:: will record its debut after a European tour in the spring of 2013.
